What numbers and class should I set in this game to avoid sucking a dick?
2x Warrior or Paladin and WarriorClericThief2x Mage(different specializations)
>>720807505Bard is very useful in IWDWizard/sorcerer is must have, but the game has very few arcane scrolls - enough for a wizard + bard, but not for two wizardsYou need a couple of tanky fighters and a rogue - fighter/rogue is a good choiceAlso a healer - both a cleric and a druid are viable optionsBows suck ass after early game, and certain unique items can only drop in certain areas with a good chance to get something else instead. It won't fuck you over, but some of them would've been very useful if you could always get them.
>>720807505WOOOOOAH MAMA HUMINA HUMNIA BOING BOING AWOOOOOGA AWOOOGA AAUUU AUUU AUUUUUUUUU REHEHEHEHEHEHE
>>720811721My experience was that bows are good almost the whole game as most enemies have low armour, extremely effective at clearing out the ranged spam that the level designers loved so much. You just get fucked over for the final boss if you haven't been hording the best arrows in the game.
>>720812064I remember that a lot of enemies were immune to unenchanted weapons, and I don't remember bows with infinite enchanted arrows. After a certain point your frontliners have good enough AC to smash almost anything in melee, and arcane casters get Minute Meteors for whatever needs kiting.
Can someone explain this game to me? Is it true it's a baldurs gate game but focused on dungeon crawling? Isn't that what bg1-2 also is?
>>720812612It's a linear dungeon crawler with some of the best looking IE areas. You just make your own party and kill shit with a non-intrusive story.
>>720812538Think it was only the golems and the final boss that were immune to everything other than +1 or +2 arrows (which the game is stingy about giving)>>720812612They have a much bigger focus on isolated dungeons, you have to roll every party member, there are fewer sidequests, barely any towns and the story is much lighter. It's basically BG but for those that want more combat and puzzles.
Dammit Dale
>>720812612it's a pretty good adaptation what a good tabletop story-driven railroady DnD campaign feels likepretty much the closest it gets if you have no friends
>>720807505trick questionyou are sucking dick regardlessthat's just what you do
>sourcecode to the sequel is lostDammit. Even with the mods, there's a load of jank and bugs.
