I miss this series so much. Being able to recruit over 100 characters, the castle/town building, the epic fantasy politics, shit was cash. What is your favorite game and character /v/? Also, are the recent remasters that Konami put out any good?

>>720811883My favorites have to be Suikoden 2 and 1. 3 was trying to be ambitious but I didn’t like it. 4 was also bad but the Suikoden Tactics game is a sequel to 4 in 4’s world and it’s a tactics game like FF Tactics. Strangely the Suikoden Tactics game ended up being my favorites, it’s not a 100% balanced game it’s easy to break midgame but it has better characters (including a hot goat mom before Undertale) and it actually fixes the lore of Suikoden 4 and makes the story make sense and interesting though sadly it’s one of the games to not have 108 recruits even though it’s an srpg and you’d think it’d be easier. Suikoden 5 is great but also felt kinda fan servicey to me it felt like S2 all over again it was alright but it wasn’t really innovating but I don’t want to sound like Miyamoto. There’s a Suikoden on portable consoles but it wasn’t good I dropped it after a few hours. And I played Eiyuden it was really buggy on release but it was fun it was alright not perfect but rip to the creator. I played the dlcs too they’re not good except Marcus, Marcus should’ve had a whole game and prequel series for himself.
3 was so gay, the "MC" is just an errand boy, the "castle" some shitty town with an ultra-gay name. 2 was OK-ish but just lacked the kino atmosphere of 1. I don't even remember playing 4+, since 3 was already so off-putting.
>>720811883gremio = best boy
>>720811883just play pic related, it was made just for you
>>720814456What did 2 lack that 1 had?
>>720817254NTA but 2's pacing was significantly worse than 1.
