Y'know at some point don't you think there's no point to getting new games? Every game that could ever exist has probably already been made, is easily accessible thanks to piracy, and offers a shit ton of variety between genre's so you have nearly unlimited options.

What game that's come out in the past decade has truly been "new"? What game has come out that's actually changed the way we see video games as a whole in the same way that Super Mario 64 or Ocarina of Time or Metal Gear Solid has? What games are coming out that are doing things fundamentally different than what we have been 20 years ago that justifies their existence?

There are enough good games for the 6th gen back to keep you busy for the rest of your life. The only time I touch new games are indies, and even then most of those are derivative of older games.
