I showed this to one of my normie friends and he hated it. he had no degree of appreciation for the fact that it's a full fledged campaign that you can even play co-op. it didn't have mario plastered everywhere so it's bad.
he didn't like the more balanced weapon system, and missed the lightning and big blue shell because 'lol explosion'
we're going to keep getting bare bones kart racers with online tacked on to function as depth. that's all anyone wants.
