If you’re going to have a very large 3D environment without fast travel (although let’s be honest it’s probably going to have that slop too) then a fast land vehicle does make sense as a method of traversing it quickly. But I don’t care for the design of the bike and the textures and detailing look like shit. And that desert is fucking soulless and without vision, definitely not what you want to see out of a Metroid game. I got a bad feeling about this one bros. But maybe it will still be okay. The actual first person gameplay still looks good. If the emphasis is still overwhelmingly on that then a little bike autism isn’t going to hurt the game.
