I've beaten over 25 metroidvanias and I had more fun with this than with Silksong
>>720821497how is it?
>>720821497I also liked Blade Chimera but let's not be silly
>>720821497had my eyes on it ever since playing the touhou metroidvania, but never got around to play it because of my enormous backlog. is it that good?
>>720822770>>720825162Since OP is a fag -It's another Team Ladybug game, if you've played Luna Nights or Wonder Labyrinth you have the gist of how it controls. The main gimmick is the big glowing sword waifu, and the game has a very odd combo system where your guns reload automatically when not in use and gun damage builds combo and when a combo ends it gives MP, which lets you use sword moves. You can embed the sword into shit to make platforms, solve puzzles, or set traps for enemies when recalling it back. You also have the ability to fast-travel to any map tile you've been to before, which is convenient but can make the game feel a bit shallow because you're always able to skip to where you're trying to be and rarely discover things you missed as a result.
>>720821497Silksong was overly difficult to the point of being frustrating but Blade Chimera was the complete opposite, it was so braindead easy that it makes the game boring, there isn't a single remotely challenging moment in it outside of the true final boss.
>>720821497Rate all the 25 metroidvanias you have played from worst to best.
