Why do gamers hate 128 player matches?
>>720829956The maps weren't designed for that many people no matter how much you scrutinize them
>>720829956i can't believe 128 people didn't want to play call of granny
>>720829956cant feel like a main character with that many people
so many people it becomes pure retardationnobody coordinates they just run around randomly
64 was always plenty enough
Not sure if it ever works, but the maps in 2042 beta were pretty ass. Everyone just ran around ignoring objectives, lots of empty fields, it just was not fun to play
They do just in real milsims and now cowadewty clones. 128 player arcade shooter garbage is boring. Dropping 100+ kills because the average player is 2iq is worse than just booting up an aim trainer.
>>720829956128 only works with fucking massive maps. >>720830151No one plays multiplayer FPSs to feel like the main character. The whole point is feeling like a expendable soldier in a warzone. That's what make them fun.
>>720829956No idea. Only FPS game (outside of Fallout, but it doesn't count) that I still bother to play is Planetside 2, and the appeal is large battles.
>>720829956Imagine the fucking lagIt takes one brazillian to fuck up your ping
>>720832142I cam simply rebut this dumb shit:Doom (following time line):>Doom I>Doom II>Doom 64 (story is different than Doom 1-2)>Doom 3 (Side Story)>Doom Dark Ages>DOOM (2016 Remake but more story of original dude)>Doom EternalWe are at 7 "launched"GTA: has 5 "launched" but 6th isn't here yet. Same is Elder Scrolls. The Marioslop has many games, so can hit this however you want it.
>>720832142Yeah, that was a pretty cool Iron Maiden song.
>>720829956Too many players dilutes the match, and makes it impossible to tell what is going on.
The idea with 128 players is fine. But you need special maps for that.
