The only ones that have retained or gained any value at all are the Samus Returns Amiibos (and not even Samus, the Metroid specifically), Solaire (Because of Chinese knockoffs making it almost impossible to find a real authentic one), Box Boy (Because it was Japanese only and tied to a specific bundle with the game), and the reskins of the Splatoon 1 Inklings (Because it was a small print and Japan only got a small individual print as well).

Seeing this it does make me curious about it. Does the switch 2 need to be hacked or something to have the information necessary to spoof an amiibo like the Switch 1 NFC Tags or does the means to do so already exist and all thats needed is to get the amiibo data?
