>heh, fallout 3 is so shit, there's almost no decisions you make in the game with permanent consequences

>"yes there are"

>NOOOOOOOOO, NOT LIKE THAT!
>>
I want to make an NV version of fallout 3 where the game is the exact same except before you get kidnapped by autumn you are forced to either nuke megaton or let the ferals into tenpenny tower to "choose a faction" or a secret third option where you do both and ally with a robot who is in control of all of DC and also physically incapable of disagreeing with you, and then the game continues as is and ends exactly the same with the waters of life quest either way.
>>
Yeah lemme add blow up a town so that I can have a home with more loading screens and later let ghouls murk my neighbors later because I felt bad about it.

Faggot.

>the insane cult worshipping the nuke and praying for it to explode is objectively good by the game's logic, their members have good karma and donating to them gives you karma as well
>if you nuke the town like the previously established good cultists wanted to but get paid for it by burke you are le evil?
>>
>>720877270
They worshipped the bomb's radioactivity, not wanting it to go off and kill everyone, dumb ass.
>>
>>720876835
I wanted to agree to arm the bomb, but actually disarm it, and surprise Tenpenny, right before slaughtering him.
Nope, once you disarm it, that's that, mission accomplished.
I knew the rest of the game wouldn't be any different, I was sorely disappointed.

Every single quest you do in Fallout 3 has permanent consequences.
>>
>>720876835
every quest giving npc in megaton survives being fucking nuked though
>>
>>720877887
strictly in the sense that you grow more irate with the experience for anything you do in it
>>
>>720877270
they are misguided but genuinely well-intentioned people who believe in a false god but ultimately follow a path that supports the general goodness of people and wants to help them.

Only 2 people survive the blast, Moira Brown and Jericho.

THe believed that nuclear explosions create new worlds.
they prayed for the bomb to explode.

The Church of the Children of Atom is based on the idea that each single atomic mass in all of creation contains within it an entire universe. When that atomic mass is split, a single universe divides and becomes two -- thus signifying the single greatest act of Atom's creation. Occasionally, a divine event occurs and trillions upon trillions of new universes are created. The last such event took place here, 200 years ago. Where most of the lost children of Atom see that event as simple war and devastation, we see creation and unification in Atom's Glow."

So almost no decisions

>They built their town around a bomb
>While knowing exactly what it was
Toddout 3 is trash lol
>>
>>720876835
I don't like Fallout 3 but it at least had a small bit of edge and let's you make evil decisions even if it's cartoonishly evil. Fallout 4 and especially Starfield is peak neutered Bethesda absolutely no edge or even gore.
>>
>>720876835
What do you lose from megaton blowing up?
>>
>>720876835
I don't know why I did it, but I did it.

The only decision that actually matters is when you choose whether to side with Enclave or BoS

Any choice in Fallout 3 is dissatisfying

me when i misrepresent fallout 3 haters
>>
>>720877887
Each quest you do makes you, the player, slightly dumber. Fallout 3 kills brain cells.
>>
>>720876835
There are virtually no consequences to blowing up Megaton though, you just lose out on the house. The devs were so afraid to put in a choice with some consequence that they gave a fucking side character plot armor so that they could make sure you couldn't miss out on le epic survival guide questline.

They're a bunch of misguided retards. Disarming the bomb gives you good karma by removing the threat.

Fallout 3 is like the ONLY game with permanent consequences, and it wasn't even trying to be that type of game.

>megaton nuke decision
>water decision
>can destroy bos
>tenpenny ghoul situation

Off the top of my head. I think there was also something to do with your vault but idk how much that changed the game. I think it just affected a couple random encounters iirc.

Kys nv shill. Just saying something doesn't change the reality. Everyone still knows it's kino so kill yourself.

Several shops and side quests, a player home with fewer loading screens, and neighbours that are generally less annoying than Tenpenny Tower.
>>
>>720891985
COPE
>>
>>720885103
The Wasteland Survival Guide is a better main quest than the actual main quest.

You will, at most, add a couple decorations and never enter it again

>The best shopkeeper in the town who also has the largest questline survives it
You still lose the others, and she looks uglier, too.
>You will, at most, add a couple decorations and never enter it again
I tend to go back to it every so often after doing a ton of quests and exploring.

Yeah fallout 3 was dogshit
