>10 hours in>Only 3 battles so far>Endless cutscenes>Dub VAs are shit and are speaking their lines instead of acting>Unnecessarily vague "Conviction" system whenever you make a dialogue choiceWhat the FUCK is this game? I feel like I got scammed. I'm not playing the game I paid for.
>Pay for game, knowing what the game is because you are informed of the things you purchase>wtf it has worldbuilding?????
>>720879521>Playing Japanese games using the West's reject tranny voice actors instead of original audioYou don't know how many years so many of us begged to the stupid western branches to get away from this and now you have the option and you do it anyway.
>>720879521also>worst graphics I have ever seen, literal eye cancerYeah, I shift-deleted the game at mission 2.
>>720880023On consoles you're probably fucked, but on PC the game actually looks way better if you lower some of the settings, so you can actually get a crisp picture without completely turning off the effects
>>720879521>dub actors are shit We, everyone knows they are the ancillary fill in for retards
>>720879521>playing the game with dubbed voices onYou are an idiot and deserve what you got.
"You know who" did nothing wrong and had the best ending.
>>720879521Yeah I really hope Triangle Strategy 2 has less story and more gameplay.
>>720879521lmao.you didn't play the demo?you should have seen this from a mile away.
This game doesn't even really have decent strategy. All you do is press triangle
>>720884825Not when they're trying to emulate FFTactics/Ogre Battle/Fire Emblem/etc. Too much melodramatic story is basically the staple of the genre.
>>720879521I was put off by it too at first but it does get better OP. It's a good game with one of the worst first impressions ever. The script needed a second read and some trimming down.
TS is a very restrictive game, but in return it gives an interesting challenge and, unlike FF Tactics, it is harder to break with cheating builds. Fights are not as drawn out as in TO (Tactics Ogre), and enemies are a bit smarter, although, in the second half of every battle, if the initiative is on your side, they will not pose a threat, due to lack of intelligence and fact that they can't kill anyone in combat forever. While TO offers more opportunities to customise characters, it is inferior to FFT and TS in terms of difficulty and overall battle pacing. In TO, on average the battles are quite easy, and the experience is made worse by lazy enemy troops that can rarely take the initiative. If you took the initiative in the first half of a battle, the rest of the battle is basically a mindless mobs destroying. That's with the longer battles themselves. Only in a couple of moments does the game offer challenging conceptual battles and unique maps, and these spikes are honestly too sudden. In other words:Importance of positioning in battle+map design: FFT = TS > TOThe overall difficulty of battles: FFT = TS > TOCustomisation opportunities: TO > FFT > TSIntensity/pacing of the battle: FFT > TS > TOWhich of these games made me think the most: FFT = TS > TO I would say so far TS has the best battles in Tactics-like genre.
>>720879521Everyone who plays this shit is certified NPC, literally soulless husks play this
>>720879521>dubfag has an opinionlollmao even
>>720886424Is it worth playing Hard mode or is the game balance shitty and not worth it?
>>720889836nta but it is the best mode in the game
>>720879521I like it a lot. It took me a few hours to get in to but as soon as I got more characters in my army, it stuck with me hard. I also feel like the choices I make have real impact and they're genuinely hard to make sometimes. I know it's probably illusion of choice but it still has a big effect on your perception.Like the first choice of whether you want to go to the mountain city or the desert city. I have no idea what that implies at that point in the game, so it felt meaningful and hard to make that choice.>dun actingHoly shit dude. Are you retarded?
>>720889836Hard mode is normal mode. Normal is the casual only here for story mode.
I liked how it seemed like it was gonna break out of the generic ass warring kingdoms plot every srpg has to have when the bad guy discovered explosives in the beginning but then gets killed and it goes right back to generic as it can possibly be>Wow the small green neutral kingdom is being threatened by the big scary blue and red and yellow kingdoms.. again..
