why does the texture look all matte and gross? anyway the coolest thing about the PS1 and other retro consoles is that it's just plug and play, no bullshit. just drop the disc in and start playing it takes a good 20 minutes just to set up a PS5, then there's the account and profile stuff, signing a load of terms and conditions, paying for the right to use your own internet, giant game updates, it's all a load of shit
