I agree, the whole map was smaller, but it felt far more interesting to explore and the mission locations were better designed, the police system was deeper and more fun to play with.I've never really liked GTA that much, but I couldn't put this game down, one of the few games I 100%, it was fun to collect all the cars and stuff for your mansion.

Instead of emulating it on PS2 you can patch it up on PC and then try out the remastered mod. I think that's the more ideal way to play it.
