There's more to Disgaea flopping than that. It's a really niche series, so pretty much everyone who's interested in it knows what a disgusting show of greed the "Complete Edition" is. So Disgaea 7 came out two years ago and NISA charged out the ass for the version with all the DLC. Then a year later the devs put out a free patch that added more content to the game, along with a new character as paid DLC for like seven bucks I think. But NISA withheld the patch and DLC from all existing versions of the game so that it could be held hostage behind this- a full-priced Switch 2 exclusive digital download. So I, as well as many others of what small community this series has decided that this series can go fuck itself and won't be touching this release with a ten foot pole. And normies sure as hell aren't gonna buy it because Etna's in the game. They shot themselves in the foot and then pissed in the bullet wound.
