Has there genuinely been a vidya franchise with as big of a turn around as Sonic? Remember the series being a total laughing stock not too long ago. Was it the movies? The merch? How did it take SEGA this long to realize how valuable autists are when you keep feeding them good stuff?The only other franchise I think that comes close is ironically Crash? He was dead in the water before all those remakes but even he didn't have the level of malign that Sonic did due to not getting any new games for awhile.
