The A plot is a a slice of life story about a girl going through puberty. As well as the younger generation fulfilling the dreams of the their parents, grandparents and Clow. At least that's what it was in the original manga. The sequel manga fucked this up by having Sakura older and making it about a shitty "will they, won't they?" premise. With typical CLAMP time travel and dimensional jumping shit.
