> Pathfinder is more popular than Warhammer and any other franchise when it comes to table top games

THEN WHY ARE PATHFINDER ACTUAL VIDEOGAMES SO FUCKING UNPOPULAR???
>>
>>721008012
Because owlcat likes to shove bullshit perks onto enemies that shouldnt have them at the levels they do thus leading to a very unfun experience.
>>

>more popular than Warhammer and any other franchise
I'm very clearly seeing dnd and call of cthulhu being more popular in that chart
>>
>5%
>popular
lmao

Game has 20 levels, campaigns 80 hours.
If instead of trying to make the overarching virtual campaign that your DM never made they made a 20/30 hours dungeon crawl to have fun making parties I would buy one.
>>
the games focus on the least fun part of tabletop RPGs, the combat.
>>
because Pathfinder games are so autistic players downloaded mods to skip tedious prebuffing shit you had to do for every single fight.
perhaps if Owlcat wasn't so AWFUL at encounter design/combat balance it would be a different story.

That's after KM came out and the same year WotR came out yes
>>
Of the Pathfinder and Warhammer video games I've played, the Warhammer ones are all their own games that try to convert aspects of the tabletop game to a video game, whereas the Pathfinder games all seem to try directly port the tabletop game. I feel that the Pathfinder method makes their games kind of unapproachable and tedious. The pathfinder games also lack aesthetic flair.

>>721008012
retard, that is Warhammer RPG, not tabletop
>>
>>721008012
there is no goddamn way
>>
>>721008012
Because pathefinder is just D&D but different.
Warhammer only stands on gaming legs due to it's setting being good for videogames.
>>

>D&D but different.
Barely.
>>
>>721008012
Grim. Dead hobby. The entire tabletop scene is literally just D&D plus tentacles/Italians.
>>
>>721008012
Warhammer RPG had only Warhammer Online, Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy as a video game
everything else is based either on miniature wargame or boardgames set in Warhammer universe (e,g Space Hulk or Hero Quest etc)

>THEN WHY ARE PATHFINDER ACTUAL VIDEOGAMES SO FUCKING UNPOPULAR???
Because owlcat's pathfinder games are dogshit tedium simulators.
>>
>Roll20
The awful free nobody uses for anything but D&D?
>>
>>721008012
3.5 bros... we're dying
>>
>>721016351
I mean, in the past it used to be just D&D and maybe few dudes playing MERP and Traveller.
>>
>>721008012
>Roll20
1. Roll20 supports D&D more than other systems
2. Roll20 is dogshit and most people playing Pathfinder use Foundry I use Owlbear Rodeo
3. WH40gay is more popular than Fantasy, but gets btfo when it comes to videogames.
>>
>>721008012
Because Owlcat are shit devs
