I never fully did this on 9.0, is it fun from a new game? I don’t even think you can do it from there right since you need hearts or something? Also iirc you lost hearts for losing.

I actually tried replaying this last year but my hands are too big to play this now. The control scheme is very wonky and would really benefit from having an actual controller to use

I beat the game on 9.0 during my first playthrough (I would revisit earlier levels and farm money if I didn't have enough)

Brief Invincibility really helped with that fight, but getting to the boss was just as tough. Still nothing compared to a 9.0 run of Three Trials

Did you even play the game? Only certain chapters in Kid Icarus are on-rails, the real meat of the game is in the on-foot sections, the upgrade system, and the glorious multiplayer.

It's a 3D Smash with a shooter on top, and somehow, it works.

I really hope Sakurai has fully retired from smash.

Air Riders gives me hope that we can get a few more games of non-smash soccer guy kino before he retires. I don't care what series he tries to take up, or even if he does totally original stuff, the guy just has a flavor to his work that I can't find anywhere else.

I used to play against my two cousins and the older one always used this. What I did was pack the reflect walls you put up to counter the charged tornado move he does. His weapon was so strong and it was so telegraph that I could consistently get him to one shot himself. Such a good game
