Fire Emblem is really unique, I don't think we acknowledge it enough. Tactical RPG with a cast of fully non-generics that you can't customize too much (at least until later games)TO and FFT relied heavily on generics, and the uniques were often overpowered. I think more recent FEs kinda take away from this uniqueness by giving you so much customization that it turns more into a standard TRPG. 3H and Engage are both very guilty of this
