I wish they'd roll out some new master rules that buff the power levels of old cards. YuGiOh doesn't do the "rolling format" bullshit that other card games do. I really like the mystique inherent to the game where "grandpa's old deck" can still [legally] be played today, I just wish that old cards weren't entirely outclassed due to powercreep. They need to do a series of little things that would make old cards a lot better. Things like bringing back prio and adding more weight to old effect terminology in some creative ways that make sense. Make YuGiOh a game where its entire library of cards matter.

For synchro, there are tons of decks that synchro spam but they tend to be expensive. For synchro, there's a lot of options. You only need a couple UR to make a battlewasp deck. You could also make a zombie pile with synchro and get most of the UR you would need from the zombie structure deck
