OP here. I had to go somewhere but just got back home. I uninstalled Lutris and re-installed it, this time from terminal using sudo apt install lutris. When I tried to run GTA 4 i got picrel and my desktop became unresponsive i had to press the windows key on my keyboard and log out then log back in. I had to remote into the linux computer from my windows computer to even get this screenshjot . The logs for this recent crash are empty.Also an anon said previously that if Proton GE isnt listed im running an outdated version of Lutris but like i said i just re-installed it and the same options are listed. Proton GE isnt there

OP Here. holy shit i FINALLY got it to work. So apparently I have two versions of Steam on here. I've bene using the flatpak version this whole time. When I ran 'steam' via terminal it ran the other version and i was able to download proton ge 10.15 and have it show up there. the flatpak version doesnt see it for whatever reason. running gta as a non steam game with that proton version works. why the fuck do i have two steams on here i only remember installing it once and i thought flatpaks were good? anyway
