how to respond without sounding mad?
I grew up with windows XP loading times and hard drive whirring noises
>boot up>no noise
>>721109645needs more fish
I edit the fan curve in the BIOS to be quieter like a normal person.
>>721109645cool nuclear reactor
>>721109923how do you change parts without making a huge mess
>>721109291cooling is for pussies.
>>721109645>water coolingsomeone wanna tell him?
>>721110994>water cooled>still uses fans to cool the water
>>721109291I take comfort knowing that unlike your mobile device, my PC is not being thermally downclocked and I am getting every last ounce of performance out of the silicon I purchased.
from the moment i wake up to when i fall asleep i have headphones in with some audio playing so i don't hear the fans
>>721111835ok homo-er i mean homie
>>721112823its Homer
My pewter is so loud my mic picks it up and my friends make fun of me
>>721109291Assuming the cooling isn't suspect: don't use Windows. Every time Windows boots it sounds like the computer is going to take off with all the phoning-home and background processes it is doing. This is where big-tech has been, unfortunately. Inefficient bloat slop coded by Indians
>>721113212nigga there's a thing called fancurves and there's this thing called bios or fan control
>>721109291I'm actually trying to piece together things for a computer myself right now, 25.6 dB should be fine, right? I gotta hunt around for what the Lancool 207's built-ins sound like.
>>721109291>>*whirrrrrrrRRRRRrrRRRRRRRR*you retarded fucking zoomers really suck at making sound effects with letters
>>721113402Oh, not too much louder but notably so.
>>721109291>server fans retard.
>>721113402just make sure you tune the fan speeds
For the last year or so whenever my fans first turn on they are exceptionally loud, it sounds like a grinder or blender or something. It goes away after a few minutes or after I hit it a few times
>>721109291Install Debian
>>721113352My gpu has a defect where the fans will think they're being undervolted and then overcorrect by trying to blow at like 50000rpm. I've done everything from that to changing the thermal pads to updating the card bios and even putting a lil desk fan in front of the case to cool it down more, it still happens. It's a known issue with 3090 cards and I got mine for cheap on ebay.
i heard people don't know how to install their liquid coolers so they make noise.not my problem, i boughted my pc from starforge otk
>>721109291install fan control
>>721109403I grew up in the 90's and was lucky enough to get the 'family computer' into my own bedroom waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of the curve. Falling asleep every night to the loud humming noises comforted me. The machines run 24/7. If I can't hear the noise it means the PC isn't running and why would that be???
