>>721162793>Mail guild rogue your lockboxes>He unlocks them for you, sends back your items minus a few goodies as tax for his services>You get your items and don't have to tip a strangerAll good :)
>>721162793>rogue demands tips for unlocking lockboxes>Explain thisSimple. Only assholes play rogue, and it fits the fantasy
>>721162793what is stopping you from leveling your own rogue?what is stopping you from leveling blacksmithing and forge your own skeleton keys?skill issue, sort yourself out
sorry didn't level my lockpicking lol
I've seen screenshots of people selling buffs in retail.
Mages sell portals. Both rogue and mage are played exclusively by the worst people you'll ever meet. Only dps warriors are worse.
>>721164852>play a class that provides services >people expect it for free Cry more. No one would do it if there wasn’t anything in it for them.
>>721165283My service is giving the melees WindfuryI don't expect tips
>decide to level a prot warrior>ret paladin has righteous fury on>hunter has growl on>druid swaps to bear every pull because "it's my only aoe">priest doesn't cleanse>mage casts blizzard before I can even finish charging>warlock using void walker>rogue constantly pulling groups because not spec'd for improved stealthI haven't even gotten to 50 yet, and I just know I'm eventually gonna have to put up with undergeared DPS death knights using Death & Decay every pull too
To be fair, WoW is a game that rewards selfishness quite a bit.
>crafters get pissy if you don't tip themif you wanted to charge a crafting fee, you should have said so beforehand, nigger
>>721162793Never tipped a rogue and I never will
>>721165356Do other people? If so then you’re only gimping yourself.
>>721165372Tank threat is a joke in WOTLK. Every tank has strong AOE and it's nearly impossible to pull threat off a tank unless there's an item level difference of like 50+
>>721165376I constantly have to explain to ESLs that if they demand a tip, then it isn't a tip, it's a service fee.Every single server with a large enough brown population has this issue.
>>721165376One time I had a tailor seethe at me for not tipping him for...a trainer recipe that every tailor knows. He even threatened to sell the item on the AH instead and kept demanding a tip. After like 5 minutes of having the trade window open he finally fucked off and gave it to me.I screenshotted all of it and sent it to his guild and got him gkicked.
>>721165450>nearly impossible to pull threat off a tankSeed of corruption will pull aggro from anything, even from a pitbull mauling a child.
I either greed and send lockboxes to a rogue in global asking to buy them or if there never was one on the server pass on every single lockboxlockboxes are for rogues
>some guy asked me to kill something for him in a low level zone once >ok sure>I did it and it dropped something that was worth 50 gold >wow neat. smell ya later, stranger >guy starts screaming and shitting himself in chat that I stole his drop >mfw I eventually gave it to him just to shut him up I figured he was probably 13 or something and would spend the rest of his days harassing me over this.
>>721165669As a warlock main, I spam seed of corruption every single pull, even when soulshatter is on cooldown, because being top DPS still counts even when I'm dead.
>>721165669In TBC, yeah. But in WOTLK, tank threat gets boosted so high that you never pull off tanks outside of retards going full ham instantly on pull.
>>721165450WOTLK boosted tanks but doing stupid shit like focusing the wrong target still pulled aggro.I think it was Cata when they made threat a nonissue, I stopped playing a couple months into the expansion so I'm not really sure
>>721165951Yeah cata just made everything even more braindead. DPS generate almost no threat while tanks do like 500% threat on every single ability. The only way to pull threat off a tank is if he's either dead or legit not pressing any buttons.
>>721162793>Fireman puts out fires because it's their job>Police arrest criminals (and minorities) because it's their job>Teachers teach because it's their job>random person wants to be paid for purchasing lottery tickets for other peopleexplain this OP?
>>721162793tipping culture in general, everyone wants to be paid for any amount of work they do, even if it's basic shit that anyone (any rogue, in this case) can do
>>721165712damn... you really are a cuckold
>>721165760Nah even in LK seed spam will absolutely steal threat from any tank, that shit has ungodly threat multi
>>721166245Weird. I never played warlock so I wouldn't know, but I don't remember it ever causing issues with threat on any of the tanks I played. Now, a boomie popping starfall and hurricane...
>>721166215Yeah, I probably could’ve just kept it. But what that really have been the right choice?
>>721165712I had a similar experience. I left a guild because there was a try hard edgy 4chan schizo spamming chat and I didn't want to deal with it. When I left I got spammed with whispers and I put him on ignore but didn't report him because he seemed like the unhinged type who would make countless alts just to harrass me if I got his ass banned for saying "nigger"
>>721166318I have to give the tank a second or two before I start tossing out seeds if I don't want to have to be scraped off the ground minute, especially since I'm better geared than most people on my server.
>>721166318It's funny because it doesn't even do that much dps but somehow has a truckload of aggro on it, many raids i've seen where the raid leader would single out locks and ask them to stop using seed. And honestly we locks just exist as a demonic pact + ele/reck curse bot in LK
>>721165376The day I decided to level my own crafters was the day I tipped 1k gold on a recipe that crafters normally charged 500g to craft and got bitched at because the crafter thought they deserved a tip beyond 2x the usual crafting price despite offering to craft FOR FREE. They advertised "crafting for free" because they were trying to level their skill, but also expected a tip well above what max level crafters charged. I said, "Fuck this," and leveled one of every profession to max level just to never have to fuck with those losers again.
As a healer I completely ignore the Warlock's health bar because I think their rotation is harming themselves to critical HP and then life draining back to full. Is it my fault if the Warlock catches a stray mob or aoe cleave and dies?
>>721166917Nah, we're supposed to include lifetap in our rotations, not kill ourselves with it between pulls like retards.
>>721166917I'm only tapping willy nilly if my healer mana is 75% or more, but there's always the retards who spend their whole mana bar without weaving in taps and then desperately tap until near death, and if the game let them they would absolutely kill themselves tapping.
>>721166917in general I think warlock spells simply cost more mana than other classeswhile leveling it's kind of up to themselves to manage hp/mana and you could cast a hot on them if you feel like itin wotlk raiding you should heal them because you'll lose dps and they have to use life tap because they're getting spellpower from a glyph
>>721166917Warlocks have two healthbars, one is green and one is blue. If they eat shit, they probably played badly, thus absolving you of all responsibility.
>>72116764320 year warlock main, can confirm
>>721162836https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEZsGUqgtHQ
>>721164852I play both of these and I'm actually super fucking based though.
>>721164852Portals cost money. It's is completely reasonable to charge.
>>721162793>warlock summons because it's their jobNow ask them for a healthstone and enjoy the tantrumEvery other class utility spells are one click purchases from trainers, rogues have to invest time leveling it to 300/+ and some don't even bothert. majew
>>721168514I summon a well at the start and again every time someone asks, it's fuckin free
>>721162793>tank complains about dying when to die in battle is the greatest honor a warrior can have>healer doesn't forgive sins and lets the meek and defenseless die>mage doesnt keep his magic a secret>warlock doesnt start a cult with blood sacrifice or do anything evil >Act 1% like a scoundrel and ask for my cut and people get mad
>>721168965>>721168514Remember back when you had to spend a soulshard for a cookie? Those were the days, vanilla was so kino
>>721166375keeping it, obviously, then reporting the kid for harassment and getting him banned
>>721169346Cata was a mistake in all fronts
>Dungeon wipe>"ah fuck, oh well">Healer begins to have a mental breakdown blaming themselves and acting like they are liable to take their own life at any moment >"dude it's fine, it'll take us like three minutes to get back">Stands still at the graveyard and trauma dumps about their own shitty life while we all run back
