I recently got done with NFS Hot Pursuit 2 and the game was quite monotonous at points. the hot pursuit side of the game was hectic enough to hold my interest, but the racing championship was extremely menial. constantly racing on identical tracks with too many laps and the same 5 songs on loop made it feel like groundhog day. I'm willing to cut it some slack since it was blackbox's first stab at a NFS game and the driving in a vacuum did feel good once you get to the faster cars.

I decided to go back to Gran Turismo 3 for a while.What surprised me is how different it is from GT4, it definitely feels closer to the old GT and GT2.Really shows how huge of an advancement GT4 was although the older games still have their own charm.

I was disappointed with the initial release, I gave the game 3 hours.I get its on a highway but we're basically just drag racing with the occasional turn so the skill is more about what parts you have and tuning shit, but they made the ai retarded and unable to keep up with you with just stock parts anyways.

Muscle cars are great for straighter highways. They usually have the highest bhp within their tier, they climb uphill the fastest, and accelerate to top speeds incredibly fast, especially with nitros. They struggle on sphagetti tracks.2. Sports/Tuner cars work well on urban tracks. They drift quiet well, but have low tops speed as well as acceleration3.
