it was in early production but got cancelled. I even had a friend who went to a market research for the game where he saw a trailer and some concept gameplay. they were doing a thing where you could interact with small objects in the environment like throwing bottles and glasses off tables to control groups. I guess from what he described, it did sound like a lite Sifu style combat system. Rip that game would have been cool as fuck

I believe a few years back the proposal for Sleeping Dogs 2 became public, but it was pretty basic. Wei was coming back, along with him having a partner who Wei played good cop/bad cop with and for the game to be set in China’s Pearl River Megacity, but aside from that nothing. Triad Wars pretty much killed any good will the series has in Square's eyes.
