That one always makes me tear up. I still remember clearly when I first read it. The manga as a whole was always frustrating because each story on its own is really good but every new story felt like a complete reboot of the series. That’s something I always disliked about Honkai Impact, all due respect. The story feels like it reboots every chapter. And ye sadly money is always first priority in the vidya industry these days I guess. Frankly, I’m amazed GFL devs even bothered making Bakery Girl, especially since it’s a remake of a game that already came out long ago. She brought the character to life so well. Beautiful and melodic yet sinister voice that perfectly fit 45’s personality. I was heartbroken when I heard she was quitting GFL. Her new VA in GFL2, Yuu Sarahara, sounds very different, but I’m starting to warm up to her. She doesn’t capture 45’s edginess as well as Tomomi did, but she has a sort of sisterly and gentle aura to her voice that sort of fits 45 in GFL2. I like to think of it as 45 having matured and mellowed out between the first and second games
