Considering FFXI and XIV are MMOs.Would you play a Mainline FF game that is more similar to Monster hunter PSO GW1 or even Destiny. As in its not a real MMO but rather a online game that has a soloable Story campaign that you can also play in Online coop. But also has Endgame content such as Dungeons and raids specifically deigned for Multiplayer. And it would also get Regular expansions every couple of years like FFXIV did.I guess stranger of paradise is somewhat what i imagine such a game would be like but obviously it would be less of a souls(nioh)-like and would have an actual good story like most mainline FF games.
Im not reading all that but my answer is no
>>721260987no, i hate all forms of online/multiplayer
Didn't twitch purge bots? because is weird as fuck having 200 viewers and no one is chatting
>>721260987You're basically describing Where Winds Meet
>>721260987FFXIV is already that. It just has an MMO overworld tacked on that's only used for main story and gathering jobs.
>>721260987I don't like the rugpull. I'm playing a mobile game right now that was advertised as being focused on playing alone. But after about 6 weeks, my progress got cockblocked by needing multiplayer. The training dungeon tiers 1, 2, and 3 would all let you use a group of NPC mercenaries. But out of nowhere, tier 4 requires you form a player group. And 90% of the players speak chinese and there's no community forum to arrange things because the game is niche. So, I'm stuck after 6 weeks of time invested. Not to mention money. Fuck all that. Pick single or multi.
>>721266657Pretty common, there's a Sonic Adventure 1/2 speedrunner, Talon, who gets about the same amount of viewership/activity for normal stuff.
>>721260987No
>>721260987First of all ffxiv is not an mmo or an rpg.Second of all no
