I've got a modded 3DS and plenty of time. Are the QoL improvements in the 3DS port of VIII enough to justify a playthrough? I've already beaten the PS2 version.

New mechanics like the camera mode are just gimmicky.I don't hate the new chars but they alone wouldn't justify playing this port, unless you want sonething on the go.That's pretty much the reason I got it back then, I had already played through the PS2 og once, wanted to replay it. Having it portable is nice since I had a few trips coming up. Wasn't a complete waste of time in the end but by god I cant pretend I wasn't disappointed in this port.
