Brass Knuckles weapon. Returns 20% stamina on hit.

I just discovered that when crafting my purple recipee of them, it can give 1 additional RNG modifier. I have now basically begun crafting 2 of them every level up. I use them most of the time, repair them, toss one pair away/dissasemble when its out of reps and durability and use the second set until I level up.

I also keep a bow and rifle incase of trouble. Although I keep a variety of slashing and blunt weapons, really I just use the bow for stealth headshots vs humans. The blunt weapon I use on some armored zombs. Most crap I would be okay with just dissassembling it although some of these weapons have good mods on them, so I keep them for loss aversion reasons "incase I need it" (i wont), and then I could weapon enhance them to catch them back up to my level. The rifle is just some standard crap I get off the barons men, but I did have to magdump a volatile.

I tried a sword I got, even decked it out with great mods. It sucks. I hate using it I hate the way it feels. I only like knuckles and beast mode

Volitiles can see very well in the dark, presumably low level heat detection or some other heightened way of sensing prey, they also smell very adeptly.

Volitiles will get sniff of you in your house and push and push and seek ways in, ingame safe zones are kept that way with UV lamps, which you won't be able to keep running 100% unless you are incredibly well stocked with generators and shit.

There are tons of water pumphouses in the region I know the locations of, but they arent much use without power, and I'd run out food with probably one exit and zombs pounding on the door. The only place with UV lights I know about would be an indoor weed farm like 30 mins away. I dont know how electricity works so even if I got a pumphouse and solar panels running and fortified it with UV, whats to realistically stop a volatile from fucking up my wires or my solar panels? Oh, and I'd need batteries. I dont have any of that. Would have to loot a tesla owner's wall thing. And then I'd have to raid places for food, I cant just go fishing. -dropkick (spin makes this worthless and I found later in the game you do not want to be on the floor in a horde)
-charged kick
-vault over zombies (you still get hit a lot - use the charge move when you can't go around)
-flamethrower (not bad at all actually, but 'tovs work better and don't take up a slot and they both need resin so pick the one that uses them more economically)

the 'best' ones I use the most in order of how BASED they are:

So another issue I have with the game (and again, I am loving it, 100% worth the buy for me) is that all the other explosives cost so much more in mats/rarer mats than the standward hand grenade.
Why am I going to make explosive knives and mines (I think mines are great) when they use wires and blades?
Flash grenades use 5 resins - I'd rather make more molotovs. These are just some examples
