I've already accepted Dark Souls 1 as a dead game especially since I prefer PTDE and you can't play multiplayer on it anyway. It's a shame but maybe one day someone will host private servers for all versions like the guy is doing for DeS.

One week ago I put my summon sign at the Undead Parish and 5 people summoned me that day.
Also while I'm waiting for someone to summon me I run around the Parish and kill all the enemies to grind souls and titanite shards.
Getting summoned for the Bell Gargoyles fight is awesome because when you get back to your world you wait 1~2 minutes and you can hear the bell ring and you realize it's the guy you helped.
