The singer line isn't there for "I am mildly interested in this and will consider it later", it's a line to mark the singer of the song. There are singfags that avoid death battles and it's just silly to go "well it's their fault" as if they're doing something wrong.

While dead name and Deadsite do sound similar, the ways in which they are dead differ to a point where the joke is just "word sound similar" rather than something clever. This is a nitpick but just a case where a little effort could make that line much funnier, like how screaming NIGGER is funny but putting in more effort for a subtler joke that ties the gamer word in more directly can be much much funnier.

They crippled themselves on step 1 in a way you cannot possibly recover from, like building a house and deciding the foundation should be wet mud. It doesn't matter if we all come together to make the best house the world has ever seen, it's still gonna be worthless because you can't support a house on mud.
