Mario Odyssey was a game I got because I already owned a Switch.
Those titles aren't system sellers, it's just something you get along the way.
There is currently no valid reason to own Switch 2.

i played it and finished it. didn't want to go back and get all the shit because it's so easy and there are so many collectables and they're all inconsequential.

Also more of an opinion, I think the Switch 2 hasn't grown enough to pull in non-NPCs yet. It's still in that "bought by people who unironically have Funko collections and sobbed with glee when Star Wars 7-9 were announced as they spend half their paychecks on a huge variety of streaming services because they're too stupid to pirate their shows" phase.
