>>721394963The studio had a poll about what race they didn't want to bring along in the new game, and the Quarians lost, that's why they weren't in the game.The issue with Andromeda is that it starts with the premise that the Initiative came across footage of garden worlds from Andromeda from the Geth, who jury rigged three mass relays to use as a telescope. Then it creates the issue of why are we moving to a different galaxy, when we've explored less than 1% of the Milky Way. If we're doing it to avoid the Reapers, why didn't any other race do it before us? If they indeed do it, wouldn't that be a big breach of the Reapers' directive? Because at any point, the Milky Way organics that went to Andromeda would eventually make organics that would kill synthetics, and eventually expand into other galaxies. And for synthetics, a trip to another galaxy is trivial, because time is meaningless to them, because they are ageless. Meaning that at any time, at any point, synthetics can jump into the Milky Way and wipe out the Organics that the Reapers are meant to protect from synthetics. So either the Reapers have to police the entire universe, or they need to be at full force in the Milky Way, constantly, to prevent that from happening, or they have failed their directive. So basically they failed their directive and they don't give two shits about it.
