It split the heroes up (again) but this time for the purpose of introducing menstruating Ratchet and piss colored Clank. ToD may have flaws, but it tried new things while bringing back the good stuff as well. I would play ToD a million times before I ever play RA more than a few. Hell, I'd play Quest for Booty and Into the Nexus more. RA is just full of motherfuckers who never shut the fuck up while making the OG heroes and Nefarious seem weak and lame. Nefarious may have been overused to some (I enjoy him in CiT) but at least he seemed threatening. Emperor Nefarious is more stupid, "witty" banter than anything, and the fact you end the game with not Ratchet and piss colored Clank is just retarded. I honestly hope the next game never comes out. I don't know how many hours I sunk into GC but I know I got all the weapons and killed the thugs 4 less Giant with turrents more times than I care to remember. RA does look nice, that's why I wish it was a straight R&C game like ToD tried to be on the new system. That game never separated the heroes besides Clanks sections. I knew things were going down hill when they lost the OG soundtrack guy. CiT is pretty good, but I know he left by that one.

it's okay but the gameplay isn't particularly funthe platforming is too shallow, and shooting is the game's main aspect but the gunplay is mid the story is shit but at the very least I'm surprised they didn't make it some girlboss bullshit and actually wrote the female mc to not be a cunt trying to prove a point

I think Into the Nexus still has the best gameplay in the series, even if Rift Apart added a little more to it, the problem with Rift is it feels repetitive and overdone.Actually, Nexus has I think the best opening in the series while Rift has the worst. I will always complain about Clank going full retard and out of character even more than in Size Matters.

Nexus definitely has a great opening with getting to see the guys actually work on the ship and then shit goes down. RA rehashed everything except in a shitty way and everything new is horrible. The spider bot minigame is fucking retarded and they know it since they let you skip it.
