Even if you miss le secret bench there is a room with infinite respawning jellies much closer than either bench that is a pseudo bench. You just rush to that room, top up, then go challenge Groal at full health. You don't ever have to tryhard the runback and can just tank hits and maggots until you get to that safety room.

If she's extra far, then stay away, lest you get caught in the punch.And that's about it. You only get that one opportunity to strike her. During the rush. So just dodge all the other shit, wait for the rush, move with her, not against her, and pogo.

For the charge, you can spam attack towards her to parry twice, and then delayed clawline her to auto deflect the backward ring + get in some hits. Clawline is the jumping r2 of this game, so you'll get in tons of staggers to refill silk and safely heal.

If she goes up you can go right under her to be safe because she can't dive straight down. If she dashes, its always 3 or 4. if the 3rd is on the ground, that's the end of the chain, whereas if she jumps in the air, there's always a 4th one downwards. Also hitting her counter is also basically a free hit every time if you right right away after triggering it. Just get back in and hit her once you see whether its the ground or jump attack.
