The ones I've played (Blue Archive, Nikke, Priconne, and a bit of Snowbreak) just have you log in daily, but it's not like you're missing out too much if you don't feel like it for a few days. And once a month there's a major "raid" where you can try hard for a few hours. Or not and just get decent rewards anyway.
I'm so pissed that this type of gamer is the only kind that buys games.

Play a tower defence, I just cleared Kingdom Rush 5, shit's easy enough but keeps you engaged and you might even fuck up a boss fight here and there.

Most of it is basically just levelling up and base building and doing radiant quests. It's fun I'm on about a hundred hours in right now on the same character.
