>>721424739ListenWindows 11 LTSCStop worrying about it
>>721439101>If you have the time to fuck with it then that means you have the money and you could get the newest hardware and just pirate a version of win11 that you can the customize one and done and never deal with bullshit updates(what I did).Windows 11 is spyware at it's core. No matter how much you tweak and customize you aren't going to be sure you got all of their 500 backdoors short of disconnecting it from the internet completely
>>721439101When Windows has a problem, the cause is a mystery and the solution is to reinstall. When Linux has a problem, the cause is always your fault or the software developer's fault, and the solution is to patch something and recompile it.
>>721424739I used linux for a decade, so I already have enough reasons to never go back.>installing and running verified software uninstalled my drivers
>>721449760>recompile it.and by "it" I mean the kernel
>>721446538They really do just worship companies making profit. Ran into a wwe shill, takling about how more ads and skyrocketing ticket prices is a good thing.
I never thought I'd be a "works on my machine" faggot, but how are so many people struggling with wifi or bluetooth on Linux? All of my hardware literally just werksed the moment I installed EndeavourOS. Ten bucks says most of the people complaining are using obscure/hideously out-of-date hardware popular in the third world.
>>721424739About that i couldnt just simple use a windows VM to use steam on Linux?
>>721445898I'm running KDE and I've never had this. What distro?
>>721439101With Lintards you need to understand that their OS is their religion (which is why a thread like this gets a 100s replies baiting them), so they will lie and mislead others to try and get them to convert.
>>721452415That's what you used to do before proton, there's practically zero reason to do it now.
>>721451172go back to your /vt/tranny containment shithole, you subhuman
>>721439101If you can pirate and customize modern Windows to improve its shittiness, congrats - you're already qualified to run a popular Linux distro. Clearly you know how Googling shit and copy-pasting commands work, and guess what? That's the very most that a majority of people would ever need on modern distros. Keep a cheat sheet .txt of common-use commands for your distro (for me it's updates and less straightforward package related commands), the only people who'll care about you not having them committed to memory from day one are lardlords on /g/ who think it's a competition to see how purposely obtuse you can make your daily computing experience.>>721453567struck a nerve huh also how do you know fubuki is a vtuber and not some gacha girl
I'm still on Windows 7. Just works.
>>721424739Your problem is you are retarded.
>>721424739sucks for you, looks like you're gonna have to stay with windows after all
>install mint>feels like shit to use>3GB RAM at idle>no auto scroll>programs and games aren't compatible>try one that is>worse performanceLinux will never be an option for my gaming PC. I do use KDE PLASMA for my privacy laptop though and it seems to work fine.
>>721455303Oh no I guess he'll have to use the better and faster OS.
>>721444653My favorite is>error: installing random-dependency-v1.2 will break package-x, which requires random-dependency-v1.1>force v1.2 to install>entire system breaks because package-x didn't update its dependencies or some shit

>>721427551>i am genuinely shocked whenever i see someone having this much trouble with fucking ubuntu of all thingsIronically Ubuntu has gained a reputation to be buggy, bloated and hard to use now. Arch distro's are considered more stable then they are now.
>>721439101People think they are sticking it to the big man. It's ideological. Maybe if some "I'm smarter than all those sheeple" added in to please the ego.
>>721426564It's already fixed.
>>721439826>>721439453It's not that difficult, but obnoxious and gets in your way all the time. People who are telling you your identity is trash aren't doing it because they can't figure it out, but because it's trash. I understand that you need that cope for your ego, about how using Linux means you're good at computers, but please keep it to yourself.
>>721449498>privacy larp Your CPU comes with a backdoor, so using Linux isn't protecting you either.
>>721455675then why look for other options at all?
>>721455675You're not supposed to make those tests on actual hardware. They are only fair when you are using a custom-built Linux handheld.
>>721424739I like Linux
>>721430704>decide to try Linux AGAINHaving trouble with with reading comprehension perhaps?
For me, it's Fedora. Even Linux Torvalds himself uses it!
>>721426564>people keep shilling arch as the peak Linux distro>Every week or 2 I see shit like this or some critical security holes and trojans and its always ArchFeels good I didnt fell for the Arch meme.
