Was there a single game on this thing that actually used the 3D in an enjoyable and meaningful way?
>>
arguably, mario 3d land. maybe kid icarus. everything else was a mediocre gimmick.

i used the web browser to watch porn MMDs that supported stereoscopic 3d

yeah 3D land used it well, they had some levels that were pretty unique because they used the better depth perception to build challenges where you had to fall on small platforms in vertical top down stages, something they hadn't done in a 3D mario game before and worked really well here

genuinely one of the best 3D implementations was the eshop version of streets of rage 2
>>
>>721438841
Yeah I was gonna say 3D Land
>>

Pushmo and a link between worlds were much clearer with 3d on
M2's Sega ports are not game changing but look amazing , especially power drift and Galaxy force 2

triple deluxe and robobot had some fun gimmicks, the only game that actually used it well is 3D land for depth perception, nothing else comes close.

The meaning is the games just looking better. I always leave it on. shame about the battery tho. Wish someone made a hand grip with an extra battery included.

why the fuck hasnt pushmo left the 3ds
wheres my switch series of push puzzles

3DLand, but that’s a given since mainline Marios have always doubled as well-polished tech demos
>>
>monster hunter
Gave the gameplay more depth which made evading attacks easier
>Luigi's Mansion 2
>Ocarina of Time 3d and Majora's Mask
In general the 3d was good because it raised the resolution of games slightly and made image quality clearer. 3ds games look like shit without it.

>Cheeseball nintendo direct voice comes in
>am I being p-p-ushed!???
>OR CRASHED!???
>20 minutes explaining what a puzzle is*
Pushimo + Crashimo comming to nintendo switch 2!!!!
>No Price on the Direct
>90 dollars on the eshop later that day
>they forgot Stretchimo
>>
I just like the 3d, it doesn't need to be used in a meaningful way
>>

I think the reason is that it was designed with 3D in mind
There is pushmo world but I never played it

I remember Ace Attorney especially looks terrible in 2D mode.
>>
>>721438841
loved it in OoT 3D.
>>

This.
Essentially double the crappy 240p resolution when in 3D mode, and the added bonus of your own brain doing postprocessing/antialiasing as it interprets the two separate images.
3DS IRL looks amazing, but full res screenshots are shit.
