I might need help on how to use ReaFir. I get it that it functions as an equalizer and compressor but the controls are not very intuitive

Today's quick tip when working in Reaper: Noise Removal!
>load ReaFir on the track, this needs to be first in the chain to work best
>select Subtract Mode
>loop a section with noise
>check "Automatically build noise profile"
>let it play for a bit
>uncheck
>copy the plugin to any other track that needs it
And you're done!
ReaFir is available for every DAW on Windows, you don't have to use Reaper to use it.

You can sometimes find a proper tempo map for these songs on enchor.us - official GH/RB charts come in .mid and can just be dropped into Reaper but if it comes as .chart (which many customs do) it has to be converted to .mid with Editor on Fire. Then you can use Reaper's built-in metronome which follows the proper tempo. there are two types of songs I do
sometimes I pick a basic topic and dont think more than 5 seconds on any line
sometimes I try to make a song that encapsulates a game I care about and it takes a few hours of revisions
I did too many of the latter this year I think because I already wrote stuff like sneed songs in previous years and know theres nothing new I could do there but I guess if sneed songs are what the people want that is how it is and I'll make one this year too

Artist here, I actually did thought about using the island adventure designs for a moment, and maybe I should've, but I was sort of focusing it more around board culture and vidya, and since the og design is more memorable i decided to keep them that way
There actually a reason for all of them to be in there
Kuromi: has a lot of thread made about her and just generally shows up a lot on /v/
Melody: often paired with Kuromi both in Canon and in threads
Minun: another character mentioned in kuromi threads and some nod to /vp/
Sue: shows up in 4chan birthday threads and is also generally seen throughout the board
Bombun: I saw getting shilled on threads both on /v/ and /agdg/
Mametchi: one of the weaker ones, but he's getting a new game, and he's probably the oldest video game tdm (possibly)
Moot: pretty self explanatory
I probably could've done better with the idea, but honestly I just wanted to make something about tdm on /v/ since it's sort of funny
