I've been getting random instant kills with Verso's free aim. I don't know if it's specific for Verso or if it's just because he's always the first to act. It's especially common against contortionists and creations in Renoir's drafts, but I've also instantly killed the Grosse Tete in the flying manor with a single free aim.
