Could it work?
It would be kino
>>721488923Are you 12?
/co/ schizo or sharty retard call it
>there were broke niggas on here who didn't have cable>they had to fucking watch WORDGIRL
is this the WG thread? Also Violet is my wife
>>721488923as a dating sim? yes
>>721489547No this is the WEG thread.
>>72148927926>>721489349You could say I'm a manchild
>>721489796I remember some autist was making an actual PBS h-game with suspiciously good art (probably AI). No idea what happened to him though.
>>721488923yea, as a low fps vector animated PBS game that's really just a shell for a much simpler game
>>721488923Yes it could
>>721489443I'd rather watch anything on PBS Kids versus modern YT Kidslop.>Redwall>Carmen Sandiego>Arthur>Cyberchase>Liberty Kids>Between the Lions>Adventures from the Book of Virtues>Thomas the Tank Engine>Anne of Green Gables>Hercule PoirotYep now that was kino.
>>721491198Holy moly I forgot about The Book of Virtues
>>721488923I only know of this bitch because I saw her porn.
>>721491198cyberchase alone would fix this shitty generation. Theres stuff in that show most adults dont even know.
>>721491849I remember seeing some guy at a restaurant fuck up filling drinks by pouring a wide pitcher into a thin glass and I was thinking, man I learned that shit on Cyberchase.
>>721488923why does /co/ watch shows meant for toddlers
>>721489796Hahahaha
>>721492760/co/ will latch onto anything with cute lolis/hebes
Is Tobey the ultimate white boy?
>>721492760>why does the cartoon board talk about cartoons?
>>721491198>RedwallThat got a TV version? I'm actually kind of surprised we've not gotten Redwall vidya, given something like Moss or Roots seem to do well. >Hercule PoirotFor kids? We did actually get vidya about some of his more famous cases though, and there's even a "young" Poirot game called The First Cases, but its not really young or for kids.
>>721492760word girl has some humor for older kids and adults.
>>721488923I haven't been made aware of this character before. I shall now go find nude images of her on the Internet because she's hot
>>721489187This almost happened in an episode btw
>>721491849Most of it was stuff I already learned in schoolExcept for one thing that stuck with me, it was an entire episode of body proportion lengths, like how your armspan is equal to your height iirc they had to estimate the size of a missing creature that none of them saw based on its footprint?
>>721493548My search for this begins
>>721493313It was an afternoon show, a late afternoon show too. Last or second last on the block. So it was for about as old as PBS kids targets.
>>721493296No I was joking, Poirot was not part of the PBS Kids block but I remember it was always the first show to air after the end of the PBS Kids block so most kids growing up during that era would recognize it by proxy.
Kids these days need Mr. Rogers more than anything else
>>721488923Only with the best villain>>721492760Because it's objectively well written and isn't even toddler-ish. Other than the half a sec explaining of words it isn't really a lecturing kind of cartoon. More like Batman 66 with the same kind of story structure and jokes.
>>721492961The last time I looked at /co/ was like almost a decade ago probably, and I remember leaving specifically because there was an abundance o extreme tumblrinas and likely actual women that hated loli unlike /a/ and /v/. Is /co/ finally healing?
>>721494381
>>721494381Wordgirl is kino. That's right...."kino!"It means..... wait, what does "kino" mean...
>>721494809It has 7 seasons https://youtu.be/IV1CKtLRsjs
>>721494603/co/ got coopted by tumblr during the the great porn purge with some /co/ mods being literally and unironically from tumblr and banning shit that wasn't in line with lgbtq+woke shit. It was only until recently with the 4chan hack did a lot of these tumblrinas turn tail and ran and now the board is slowly healing and posting Wonderloli won't get you executed on site anymore.
>>721494345That guy managed to explain to kids how the Vietnam War was bullshit using puppets and without talking down to them, while also being instrumental in the creation of PBS and children's programming that wasn't just toy commercials.
Put WordGirl in that Invincible Fighting game so she can beat up Omni-Man.
>>721495208And MLP had 9, so your point is?
>>721495274Well that's good news. Hopefully the tumblr jannies stay gone.
>>721495338MLP was good until the last season that completely ignored the lore stuff they established 2 seasons before. It was damn stupid with a horrible ending. https://youtu.be/rT_S-ShiOtQ
>>721488923>>721494381I used to watch this with my little sister when she was still in elementary school. This, Wild Kratts, and Fetch with Ruff Ruffman were this shit back then
>>721495453>FlawlessTHEY KNEW?
>>721494603Never understood the tumblr/sjw stigma /co/ got. They've been literally bitching about wokeshit and censorship nonstop for over a decade now, they have several underaged tit cow OCs, regular TnA threads, and some of the most popular waifus there are underaged or just straight up lolis. It'd be like people calling /v/ a sjw safe haven because people got banned for supporting the Five Guys whore.>>721495274People were calling it /co/mblr way before then.
>>721495685Fetch was so awesome
>>721495453I lost interest by season 5.
>>721495453I stopped caring when they gave the purple one wings.
>>721494603>>721496239/co/ has had some shitty over-sensitive mods but the actual userbase has never been any worse than any other board.
>>721488923Word Girl is surprisingly decent>>721491198all kino
>>721493313Yeah like me in my head having sex with her.
>>721496898Sex! Wait... what does sex mean?
>>721491198It's not even remotely comparable. PBS Kids actually put in effort.
>>721496998This is a bit of a tangent I always thought it'd be really funny to make like a PBS Kids parody where the joke is they're learning about sex ed but then Peepoodoo came out and I realized the idea was actually extremely cringe and not funny or sexy at all.
>>721498362I think the best line to tow is to talk about borderline edgy but not explicit stuff and not have her swear, like >>721489187
>>721491198This.
>>721491198PBS employee here. We don't air any of those shows anymore. We don't even have the rights anymore. Our oldest show is Arthur, and that's basically because he's our SpongeBob equivalent.
>>721501979I swear to god I saw Cyberchase on that shit not too long ago.
>>721502056Oh yeah, we do still have Cyberchase. My bad.
>>721488923>Could it work?Totally could. I would imagine the mission structure to be that of an episode where each segement your either playing as Becky or Wordgirl, maybe sometimes you get to play as other characters for different purposes. It would be unfortunately very basic, hell they might forego making an actual game and just turn it into some flash game equivilant you would find any cartoon show site. But yeah, theres tons of potential for a video game if given a good budget and proper dev time.
>>721496570Yeah there are more woke shit heads on /tg/ if anything
Why is she like this?
>>721491198It WAS kino, but flash ruined the ones that actually stuck around.
I don't know how many people realize how hard PBS was carried by Canada
>>721498362It wasn't funny because instead of kids it was a bunch of retarded millennials acting like manchildren.
>>721498194PBS seemed surprising stringent. I don't know about now but when I was a kid they were often airing these pilots that apparently didn't make the cut to get picked up. And they weren't bad either
>>721503389The inevitable goblinization of all latinas.
>>721503389because young males perfer the chubby female demographic
>>721488923I find it weird how she is basically Superman but with words mixed in, yet the show was pretty alright and entertaining.
