Sometimes a game with friends is fine but it's an inferior version to every single other game you could be playing, this game is not a fun party game or anything you just get angry at each other at least for the first year of playing. It doesn't have a particularly high skill floor, but you need to play quite a few games to learn how it works, how each champ functions, how items work, and how to get to a generally comfortable level where you can focus on individual improvement over just learning basic functionality.The core issue is that the game is just not fun if you're not winning. So if you lose a game (which can easily just be decided before the 10 minute mark), you still have another gold 10-20 minutes of delaying the inevitable. You have to rely on 4 complete strangers that you'll never play with ever again to play with coordination and competence. And if 1 person leaves or is absolutely terrible, it can instantly ruin the entire game.And you're trapped in this game for 20-30 minutes. Leaving early results in a ban. Going afk results in a ban. Being mean results in a ban. It's fundamentally unfun unless you're kicking the shit out of the other team.
