Initially, I planned on flipping off the final kicker and foot planting off the manny section, but I ended up having more speed and spacing this.

Well what the fuck even is there to review? There's no fucking content and the alpha is clearly cornerstoned on having microtransactions and a fucking battle pass. The animations look good for the actual stunts and tricks, but the art style looks awful same with the character design. Fuck man just upgrade the definition on the early 10s character art. I'm having a ton of fun with the game, never cared about the story, missions, game modes, etc for the old games.. shit was always just about skateboarding for me. Kinda based that EA is getting a bunch of flack for lowering the bar though. Hopefully the combination of big potential playercounts + bad reviews means they'll actually cook a little faster. I really hope the few core veteran skate devs can have genuine "told you so" moments with management. Could have been a universally praised game if they just got to do what they did before instead of being bogged down with a bunch of HR department flunkies.

From what I've experinced, theirs 3 layers of height, the middle bridge area, church, and the top market road. Then most areas go down about two blocks, like the hotel, tri towers, and the vault. Then lastly the large ocean side loop is the lowest. I don't mind it, but the game suffers greatly from not having a big mountain area.

It plays pretty well and is mostly bug free. But like everyone says, it has no style and thats like half of the game. I don't give a FUCK about challenges. Skate has always been a game to aimlessly Skate around on my own, and listen to music.
The map seems alright at first glance but it is super lacking. No big hills to bomb or cool secret spots or anything. And it really does feel small.

At least it's free. If I payed $60 for it id be bummed.

Session is still the skating game skate fans should play. It's got physics goofs, but holy shit it feels so good to skate. So much better that skate.

If you like skate you NEED to get session. It's seriously makes skate seem too arcady going back to it. There's a bit of a learning curve, won't take long, Maybe an hour or something, but once you get it, it feels right. Each stick controls a foot. It's different. Session sometimes feels sluggish and shitty, you have to tweak a lot of settings. SkaterXL is 100% abandoned and the default game is bad and floaty, but it is really good with the community mods, especially the one that lets you tweak gravity, trick speed and other stuff. Also, tranny is better, but none of the three games get it right. Session has nothing on it, by the way. Session has a cute story mode with cool (and frustrating) objectives, SkaterXL only has a couple of lines in the official maps.

t. 1000s of hours on each.

This brickswitch park is pretty ass compared to the ones in market mile and hedgemont.

Classic and experienced are almost the same, they just switch the push buttons, I use classic because I prefer pushing with square. What actually matters is you manually change the pump settings, some people also change grind assist and minimum ollie but I didn'r touch them.
