>>721590471Anime, manga, LNs and WNs have all been in the trash since isekai power fantasy got a hold on the creative space. Isekai's brand of wish fulfillment and lack of real worldbuilding pushed out chuuni worldbuilding and plots, because it's just easier to pump out over and over. All they need is the initial premise to be somewhat okay and that's enough. VN's always trended towards chuuni, mystery, or horror, but those genres need effort to be coherent stories. It's too much for the current market. Why do that when you could write a bullshit story on syosetu or kakuyomu and get a LN, manga, and likely an anime deal out of it?
