Think of it this way. You know when in japanese games they use swords and shit but enemies are acting as if they were hit with a blunt pipe? This isn't that game. When somebody gets cut they bleed and lose limbs after the first or second hit. Rise of the Ronin and Ninja Gaiden were especially bad. You hit them a bunch of times with your sword and nothing would happen but when they die limbs fly off. They are organic fucking enemies, any swing that hits their limbs should cut them off.

There have been so many leaks over the last 5 years that, unless they just completely scrapped the combat, it's going to be very cinematic and heavy on the power fantasy. Maybe they'll have some tougher enemies that you have to parry or combo, but i think that's it.
