It can remain an extraction shooter, but fundamentally it would need to be narrative driven, which if the beta is anything to go by they would need to change everything.I don't know who is creatively in charge at Bungie, but they have fucked up so hard I don't think it can be saved. They've created a hero shooter extraction game designed on having you team up with strangers, this is a terrible idea. The only reason I would play this over another extraction shooter would be because I like the setting. They could make something of that, they could make an extraction shooter where the main attraction is learning about what happened and progressing the story, but they're too incompetent.

No. Not as long as it’s a PvP focused extraction shooter. The genre is so bad it’s baffling. The loot has no intrinsic worth because you’re not working towards a win state, only getting more loot. In a battle Royale, the win state is being the last team standing. There’s none of that in an extraction shooter, you just loot, get into two gun fights and leave.

If the team isn't made up of nerdy White dudes and a few Asian guys with severe autism, it's over, you can basically write off any game project as never becoming what it should be at that point. The only time I have ever seen women on the development team not be shit is if it's like an older eccentric woman working on texturing or something like that. Pretty sure this is the case for Half Life. If dev teams have more than 1 autistic woman and any niggers or fat glop spics, it's over
