I think the passage of time has borne out that pendulum summoning is completely retarded and was one of the final nails in the coffin. Still don't know how Link Sunmoning works but it looks equally retarded, just synchro summoning with even less requirements and annoying zone shit, great idea. I had a little interest in returning when True Draco was popular because I ultimately support Total Extra Deck Death, but I think the game will just never be fun again like it was. As for vidya, I still like Tag Force 3 and 6 even though tag dueling is a little annoying.

I enjoyed Master Duel quite a bit a few months back until I got to a rank where players had more optimal decks. Even then I enjoyed the 2004 event far more. Sure, drawing dead isn't terribly engaging and that tends to happen more, but even then I enjoy the feeling of improv and Russian roulette watching an opponent draw knowing I don't have anything. I won a couple duels just by bluffing and buying time. Obviously Goat has its own problems, of course.
