I like new Swain because you actually have to think about your spells and cooldowns and he has more potential in terms of play style, build and just other things in his kit in general such as range/aoe/engage, etc.He's also a more fleshed out character now rather than some throwaway Saturday night cartoon villian. More people play him now than before too, he gets more updates indirectly due to item changes or directly with multiple kit adjustments or just skins in general or other places like the tv show, comics, etc. He's perpetually in an interesting spot while being a niche throughout.
