I played through all of Halo Reach on Heroic until I got to the final standoff in the final mission (Pillar of Autumn) and I just kept running out of ammo or getting nuked by the waves of enemies. I was forced to restart the level on Normal difficulty.

I completely fucking forgot in Star Ocean 2 (remake/remaster) that they tell you at the beginning of the game there are timed sidequests you need to go do. I completely ignored all of them and got about 4/5ths of the way through the game before I realized I had missed 6 fucking party member recruits. Rage quit and haven't beat it.

The story/lore in 1 was unironically great and despite /v/ screeching woke for a good year after it released, it was just cherrypicking that one hilariously bad writer who was mostly relegated to side quests (and even then maybe 1 out of 5, whatever just skip them lmao). Forbidden west had a great start and far better dialogue with couple interesting locations, but I feel its story was a lot more drawn out in a bad way. Then again both burning shores and frozen wilds were top tier DLCs.

This is a pretty mild one. Yakuza 3 is my favorite Yakuza game. I love the laidback story so much, and really enjoyed all the orphanage shit. It made me feel warm inside. A lot of story bests felt really nice. And the gameplay was not nearly as bad as i thought i was gonna be, based on everyones complaints.On another note, Kiryu showing up in Yakuza 4 and his theme just being called "The Myth", is so badassI also love Yakuza 0.
