It’s dominating all discussion for the Switch 2 now, and it’s really unfortunate.The outcry is understandable, of course. I’m just wandering how much Nintendo shot themselves in the foot this time. We won’t really know until sales numbers come in, of course, but I thought I would ask here, just as an anecdote:Are you still getting the Switch 2 this year, in spite of the price. If not, do you think you will in the next two to three years as more games come out even if the prices aren’t lowered?

When I was a kid/teenager, Nintendo's portables being cheap were how I was able to buy and play games that weren't licensed shovelware.It cost less than $70 to find a used gba and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Sapphire, and that provided me with hundreds of hours of fun. I know kids these days have cheap tablets and laptops and all these free games, but as an adult, there are far more compelling and complex alternatives to Nintendo's games on other platforms.So who is the Switch 2 for?
