At least for me, It's better to just draw, carve the correct shape, draw again, than endlessly CTRL-Zing because the line didn't come as perfect. Depending on your style for the finalized piece you can go as perfect as you want. But at least for the drawing and figuring out phase I feel messy works much well for me. And I have seen many streams of goated artists, some have clean fucking pristine sketches, and others are a mess, but it serves them as a base to keep drawing.

The only way I can think of making them look like they belong to different factions would be to add some simple symbols and decor. Maybe some stripes, a triangle, dots? I have over 1,2 gigabytes worth of reference images saved and categorized loosely across themes and what factions I find the references useful for.Regarding the shardgun designs, I have not included specific markings etc in the designs mostly because I kind of envision them being just sort of generic examples of the types of shardguns used by the spefic factions, as they are part of sort of a series of infographics focused on each of the factions. So squad markings and personal customizations on the guns would not necessarily serve the purpose I have for these drawings.

Prompting and editing is even a skill that shouldn't be disregarded or undervalued if we're discussing AI. We need to be honest with our efforts and methods, but don't let anyone tell you you're not making art.
